Despite quickly becoming a young and successful lawyer, his early life was devoted to academic studies. During his university years, he spent his free time singing and playing music with friends in local venues. It was during one of these performances that he was spotted by the director of Jesus Christ Superstar, who cast him in a touring production that took him to venues across the globe. Driven by this growing passion, he eventually left the legal profession to fully dedicate himself to acting.

He moved to Milan, funding the move himself, in order to attend all the acting schools necessary to develop his craft.

In 1995, he joined the musical Jesus Christ Superstar with the Teatro della Munizione company, performing the roles of Simon Zealotes and Peter. With the same company, he went on to perform in several other productions, including Evita, before joining the cast of the musical Grease in the role of Sonny. His career in musical theatre continued with Peter Pan: The Musical, where he played Captain Hook.

As a film actor, he made his debut in Malèna by Giuseppe Tornatore.

In 2007, he appeared in the Mediaset TV miniseries Il capo dei capi, portraying the mafia boss Luciano Liggio, and later played Giacomo Trapani in the television series Squadra antimafia – Palermo oggi.
