Overfitting – The GereBros podcast that decodes AI

What is a podcast, really? A radio show you can listen to anytime? A talk show without cameras? A stream of words you can pause, rewind, replay?
Or maybe it’s just an excuse to talk about what really matters.

That’s how Overfitting began. A live mic, a conversation taking shape, and a drive to understand one of the greatest revolutions of our time: Artificial Intelligence.

When GereBros launched this format in 2014, “AI” wasn’t yet the buzzword it is today. ChatGPT didn’t exist, no one had seen an artwork generated by an algorithm, and the idea of having a natural conversation with a machine still felt like science fiction.
But AI was already everywhere — quietly reshaping how we work, communicate, shop, even how we make decisions without realizing it.

And so, it needed to be told. Not with boring jargon or dry lectures, but in our own language.

Why “Overfitting”?

The title is no accident.
In AI, overfitting happens when a model learns too much from its training data — so much that it can’t adapt to the real world anymore. It becomes rigid, overly precise, and starts getting things wrong.
Pretty much like us humans, when we cling too tightly to an idea, a belief, a perception that blinds us from seeing what’s really out there.

That’s why Overfitting is our antidote.
A podcast that helps make sense of artificial intelligence — without bias, without panic, and without blind enthusiasm.
Because AI isn’t magic. It’s not a monster coming to steal our jobs. It’s not the new digital god.
It’s a tool — powerful and revolutionary, yes — but still just a tool.
And it’s up to us to learn how to use it.

So, what happens inside Overfitting?

Yes, we talk about AI. But not just that.
We talk about history, culture, entertainment, philosophy, technology, and the future.
We start from the early days of artificial intelligence — the legendary Dartmouth Conference of 1956 — and follow the thread all the way to the rise of ChatGPT and generative models.
We debunk myths, examine biases, and explore the ethical and social implications of a technology that’s reshaping the world.

And we do it all with the GereBros tone: no academic lectures, just real conversations, stories, pop references, jokes, and sparks that make you think.
Because artificial intelligence isn’t just for techies — it’s a cultural shift that affects us all.

Stay connected. Stay with us.
But most of all…
watch out for Overfitting.
