The transformational workshop led by Renato Geremicca for Pietro Buccarelli of PwC, with the participation of Professor Fernando Alberti from Harvard School, was designed as an immersive experience aimed at redefining the role of communication and leadership within the organization.
Not a traditional training session, but a true journey of awareness and growth — guiding participants through the dynamics of group interaction, corporate culture, and the power of words in shaping professional success.

The event opened with a reflection on the value of authentic communication, emphasizing that language and word choice are essential not only for delivering information, but for building meaningful connections and influencing behavior within a team.
The importance of coherence between what is said and what is truly meant was at the core of the discussion — showing how any misalignment between the two can lead to misunderstandings and erode trust.
The ability to communicate clearly, intentionally, and without “code dissonance” emerged as a vital skill for success in today’s professional world.

Another key theme of the workshop was the distinction between finite and infinite games, inspired by the thinking of Simon Sinek.
The group explored the difference between a mindset focused solely on short-term wins and a broader vision where the goal is long-term growth and continuity.
This approach proved especially relevant in the business context, where the real objective isn’t simply to “win,” but to build sustainable and resilient strategies that allow organizations to thrive in uncertain environments.

Throughout the session, participants also examined the ongoing evolution of the workplace and the increasing influence of technology on society and business.
A particularly striking case was that of Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, whose sudden dismissal and rapid reinstatement served as a reminder: even in the most advanced tech companies, the human factor remains central.

This episode sparked a broader conversation on digital transformation, the need to adapt to change, and how artificial intelligence can be seen as an opportunity rather than a threat.

Another major point of reflection focused on the importance of organizational culture and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on the connection between leadership and employee well-being. Drawing on references to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the discussion highlighted how organizations function as living systems, and how the success of a company depends on its ability to create an environment where people can fully express their potential.

Motivation and engagement were identified as the true driving forces of growth, reinforcing the idea that organizations must be structured as ecosystems, where shared values serve as the glue that holds teams together.

To close the journey, the group reflected on the power of language in shaping both a sense of belonging and professional identity.
Participants were invited to explore three key questions: Who am I? What do I do? Why do I do it?
Clarity on these points was presented as essential for effective leadership and for building a strong, united team.

The key takeaway?
The true value of any organization lies in its people. And the ability to communicate authentically, build meaningful connections, and work with a long-term vision is what makes the difference in facing the challenges of the future.
